Using the performance space and interaction with others There are many opportunities to explore the space and interact with characters. You might think about how to establish the changing relationships between the characters and express con ict or affection. You could re ect on the use of proximity, levels, touch and reactions. When you are writing about performance space and interaction, make sure that you focus on the effects you want to achieve, such as romance, surprise, tension, pity, excitement or comedy.
