OCR Psychology A Level Book 2 sample

The authors Cara Flanagan Cara writes, speaks and organises—she has written many books for A level Psychology, and she speaks and organises student conferences. She is senior editor of Psychology Review . In a previous life she was a teacher probably for more years than you have been alive and also an examiner for an equally long time. Her spare time (what there is of it) involves her husband and children (now all in their 20s), pubs and mountains, preferably on the same day. Anna Horwitz Anna taught A level Psychology for 12 years in North Yorkshire, and set up a psychology department as well as being EPQ coordinator. She has recently left teaching to pursue a Masters in Research in Psychology. She is a self-confessed psych-geek! Anna juggles studying and writing with two young children, loves travelling and generally ends up where the food is fabulous. Rob Liddle Rob was an A level Psychology teacher for more than 20 years, before turning to writing. He ventured back into teaching again recently and would like to give a big shout out to his ex-colleagues at Winstanley College. He has finally come to terms with never seeing Frozen , despite having two granddaughters. STOP PRESS: He watched it over Christmas. He can finally Let It Go. Jock McGinty Jock is Head of Psychology and Head of Sixth Form at Watford Grammar School for Boys. He has taught psychology for 17 years and is a senior A level examiner and CPD presenter. He is the European representative on the Association for the Teaching of Psychology committee. Jock is interested in positive psychology, specifically the role of character strengths in student satisfaction and academic success.
