1 Choosing your major activity Questions to ask yourself Think about these questions when choosing your major activity. You should spend time exploring the pros and cons for each activity and record your notes in your practical pro le. Which activities do I have the most knowledge and understanding of? What makes a skilled performer in these activities? What components of fitness are needed in each of these activities? How will I apply the theory? What would I like to develop through completing this PFP for each activity? Figure 1.1 Strongest and weakest activity What do I know about my injury? Have I been given a rehabilitation plan? Yes – This will give me a focus to help motivate myself through my rehabilitation. No – I need to seek medical advice before starting a rehabilitation plan.
