WJEC/Eduqas GCSE PE Personal Fitness Programme: Student Companion
Your introduction Once you have decided upon your major activity, a good way to begin your PFP is to explain a bit about your background, how you became interested in the sport and what your goals are. This will form the introduction to your PFP. By the end of this chapter: • you will have started your introduction. What to do and why? Although there is no assessment objective linked directly to your introduction , this is an opportunity to show some application to theory (see Links to key areas at the end of this chapter, p. 21). Introduce your PFP so the reader (teacher/moderator) can gather some background information on your major activity as well as your activity pro le. How to do it In your introduction write about: • why you are interested in your activity • how long you have been involved in your activity • the successes you may have had • your goals and motivation • anything else you think is relevant. You could choose netball as your major activity 2 18
