After two weeks of making deliveries, Nell realised that she had miscalculated how many fence panels could be carried in an average load on her lorry and, because fuel prices were increasing, she was going to lose money on the contract and go out of business. Nell told Bailey about her problems. It was very important to Bailey that he receive the regular fence panel deliveries from Nell because he needed a large quantity to fulfil a housing development contract. Reluctantly therefore, he agreed to pay Nell more for the fence panels. Having now built the houses, he has decided not to pay the increased price to Nell. Advise Nell.
